Etiquette Tip of the Month - "Outside In"
Just remember the words, “outside in,” and you will be confident in sitting at anyone’s dinner table. Here’s why:
Salad and entree forks are to the left of your plate; knives and spoons are to the right. Your dessert fork and spoon will be at the top of the plate. Water goblet and all glasses will be to the upper right of your plate, above the knife and spoon. Your napkin will be to the left of the forks or in the plate. To begin your meal, use the outermost utensil. For a formal place setting, you will receive exactly as much silverware and stemware as needed, arranged in precisely the right order. So if your hostess does not plan to serve you a salad, you will not have a salad fork. If she plans to serve you sherry, you will have a sherry glass. As each course is finished, the silverware will be removed with the dish, leaving the table cleared and ready for the next course to arrive. Easy!

Program Happenings
Participating in etiquette activities in schools nationwide makes great things happen! This section will explore clubs' program participation and highlight news in the etiquette and character education industry. Please submit your program's videos, photos and testimonials from your school and it may be featured in our 'Program of the Month' or 'What's Going On!' section on our website. |

Community Involvement
Active citizens give back to their community. Each title of the etiquette curricula has an entire unit dedicated to servicing the community and developing good citizens. This picture shows an earlier etiquette club volunteering at a senior citizen’s home. The seniors enjoyed freshly brewed tea, homemade desserts and mannerly conversation with club members. |

What Our Clients are Saying
“I think this was a great program for the young ladies. I could tell from the final program that they learned a lot and had a good time doing so. My daughter looked forward to attending each week and always came home to share what she learned.”
Anonymous- Parent of student
“ The kids had a blast and to see them using the lessons they learned has really made me happy to know that I helped children learn something new that will help them in many ways when they get older. ”
Blakeley C - Assistant Teacher EDUCATION CONNECTION
“ I think that it is important for all students to know how to interact with others. How you present yourself is very important in all aspects of life.”
